Solid mat of glossy foliage. Lovely lilac-blue flowers in spring. Vinca Minor prefers shade, semi-shade. Grows 6-8 in. tall. Roots wherever stems touch soil. Five plants cover 5 sq. feet. Bareroot.

Foliage: Semi-Evergreen
Comments: Mix in generous amounts of peat moss, compost or well rotted manure into the soil. Keep soil moist, not soggy; especially during hot, dry summer periods. Occasionally requires clipping back in the spring to encourage new growth. Attractive dark green shiny foliage. Excellent around the base of the trees. Makes an attractive, fast growing ground cover or border/edging. Also called Periwinkle or Creeping Myrtle. Will do better in shade or partial shade.
