For low-maintenance beauty!

Large, fragrant, fully-double flowers perfume the air from late spring to late summer. Grows 3-4 ft. tall, a woody bush that's super for planting along property lines. Produces abundant blossoms year after year. Cold-hardy, so it won't die back in winter. Should be in full bloom by the second year. Plant in full sun and well-drained soil. Bareroot.

Comments: Kamata Tapestries Named for the famous tapestries woven in the Kamata province. These long lived woody shrubs produce one of the most magnificent flowers to be found. These resemble exquisite, huge, delicate roses with papery petals, either in solid shades or more often in the most glorious color combinations that have the beauty of a Monet or Gaugin painting. Most are wonderfully scented. For best performance, they should receive not more than 4 hours of sun a day and this preferably in the morning. They are heavy feeders, so they require a rich, deeply worked soil and some annual fertilizing. The plants take 3 - 4 years to flower, thereafter they produce flowers annually. They are best given plenty of room. A winter mulch in northern areas where frost heaving is a problem is recommended. Remove in spring before growth starts. Good resistance to P $ D problems. Watch for borers. Deer resistant. Liked by butterflies. Most are very fragrant.
