These small, yellow fruits
have been used for centuries in Europe and Asia for
medicinal, as well as nutritional purposes. High in
vitamin C, these winter-hardy shrubs grow 10-25 ft.
tall and produce small orange to yellow fruit with a
citrus flavor. Use the healthy berries in tea, to flavor
juices or in jams and jellies. Plants make lovely ornamentals
as well, with fine-textured, silvery-green
foliage. Plant two or more for pollination. Zones 3-7.
