Bright purple berries appear in late summer and are especially tasty to birds. This upright 3-4 ft. shrub is deer resistant and the perfect choice for a hedge or specimen plant. Grows in sun to partial shade. Zones 5-9. Potted plants.

Update on Purple Beautyberry

Do not know if this is anything new about this plant or not. I live in the Ocala National Forest and this plant grows wild all over the forest and in yards all over here. It seems to do well in drougth or a lot of rain and poor soil as well.We mostly have Sugar Sand in this area. Might be helpful to some and I do hope so. Let me add it is a beautiful plant.
