Jalapeno Hot Pepper
Jalapeno Hot Pepper
72 days-The standard for Mexican Fare.

  (1 customer reviews)

Medium hot, 3 in. peppers get hotter as they mature, turn red. Jalapenos have authentic Mexican flavor.

Hot peppers come in an assortment of flavors, colors and heat levels, ranging from very mild to fiery. Add them to salsas, sauces and soups; pickle, stir-fry or roast them. Most are very easy to grow. They thrive in warm conditions and are relatively drought tolerant.

Lots of heat
Reviewed By: Tom (Greenville, SC)
I got the six plugs and it turned out that only three of them ended up producing anything (my fault). Once those three plants started producing they just didn't stop. I could have harvested from them every day. I would guess that each of those plants produced 100 peppers. Also, I had trouble with pests in my garden last year. But they left the jalapenos alone. Humans are the only animals that voluntarily eat hot peppers.
