Comments: Four hours or more of direct sunlight from a south window. Let plant approach dryness before watering. Average indoor humidity levels. Day temperature 65-70 degrees F; night temperature 50-55 degrees F. Use an acid-balanced fertilizer throughout the year and add trace elements in spring. Leaves will drop if soil is too wet or too dry. High Ph or high soluble salts can cause leaf yellowing. Will not bloom if light is too low. May need to hand pollinate for better fruit production. WATERING: WHEN IN ACTIVE GROWTH, LET TOP INCH DRY OUT BETWEEN WATERINGS. DURING WINTER REST PERIOD, WATER JUST ENOUGH TO PREVENT COMPLETE DRY OUT. FOR INCREASED HUMIDITY, MIST AND GROW ABOVE MOIST PEBBLES IN THE TRAYS. LIGHT: GROW LIGHTS OR FLORESCENTS MAY ALSO BE HELPFUL. WHEN MOVING OUTSIDE IN LATE SPRING, MOVE GRADUALLY AND WATCH FOR SCORCHING. FERTILIZING: WHEN PLANTS ARE ACTIVELY GROWING, GIVE THEM A HIGH POTASH (TOMATO TYPE) FERTILIZER TWICE A MONTH. DON'T FEED IN COOL, LOW LIGHT WINTER RESTING PERIOD. TOP DRESS IN THE SPRING WITH SOME NEW TOP SOIL OR REPOT IN A LARGER POT WHILE ANY POT WILL DO - PREFER A CLAY POT.

Lemon Tree
Reviewed By: Rhonda (Goddard, KS)
My dwarf lemon tree arrived this week. It is small (about 8" tall) but it is green and healthy. I was actually surprised it had arrived in such excellent condition. I am anxious to watch it grow.

Make lemons!
Reviewed By: Suzanne (Alexandria, VA)
After a sad experience with the postal service, our replacement lemon tree arrived in beautiful condition. We've transplanted it to a new pot and look forward to plenty of lemons and more fragrant flowers! There were a couple of flowers already on the plant when we received it. They smell divine!

Meyer Lemon Heaven
Reviewed By: Roni  (Ramona, Ca)
We have a Meyer Lemon Tree planted in my Kitchen Garden. This dwarf tree is so full of lemons year after year after year we have friends stopping by for their lemons. Our tree was unwanted by my Aunt at least 12 years ago, we got it. It is in a sandy well drained soil. Yes it blooms year round, with the fruit still on it. Last week I picked 100 lemons, and you can't tell I picked any. I must have near 800 fruits, no exaggeration. This year is phenomenol and heavy branches are setting on the ground. So if they have IMPROVED this Lemon....OMGosh that would be Meyer Lemon Heaven.
