Worked great to fill in bare spots
Reviewed By: Ann (Chicago, IL)
My lawn had bare patches, and I wanted something that would stay green and not get so tall that it needed a lot of mowing. I just scattered this clover seed around without any soil preparation at all, and it took off all on its own! It has lasted several months now, growing green and beautiful but not too tall. It has been great and very easy. I'm hoping that it will come back even stronger next year, and then I won't need to fertilize my lawn because the clover pulls nitrogen (?) from the air and is a natural fertilizer. One catch, though - the same herbicides that kill dandelions will kill the clover. Overall I'm very happy with this clover seed.
