Coons got most of my crop. I was able to harvest 1/2 of one crop due to coons. Hupp (Sandyville, WV) After years of searching for the best sweet corn, I've finally found it. Bodacious is tops for flavor and fresh eating. The husks don't cover the tops as well as some others, but that's the only drawback I've noticed. Brushing the tops of the silks with mineral oil may help deter corn weevils, but so far I haven't found it to be enough of a problem to bother. I highly recommended Bodacious for fresh eating. For freezing, I've found Tendertreat to be the best.
