Colorful early to latespring blooms, followed by thick foliage that lasts all season. Use on sloping banks or to replace lawn where mowing is difficult. Compact 4- to 6-in. plants spread up to 18 in. Prefers full sun; tolerates poor soil if well drained. Space 8-12 in. apart. Zones 4-9. No. 1 bareroot.
