Outstanding color
comes in a burst of bright crimson flowers. Vigorous,
dependable blooms keep on coming from early
to late summer, for a full-season show. Fills an area
fast! Clumps of emerald foliage grow 17 in. tall and
spread to 30 in. Very adaptable but best planted in
sun or partial shade. Zones 3-9. No. 1 bareroot.

| Comments: One of the bests reds. Vigorous. Keep soil moist, but not soggy. Incorporate generous amounts of peat moss, compost or well-rotted manure into the soil. Be careful not to overfertilize. May be divided every three years as needed. Cut leaves back to 3-4 inches in fall. Drought and heat resistant.
